Delighted to report we now have enough crew that we can station someone on every single deck, all the hangers, and still have one left over to serve drinks in Ten Forward! Thanks for joining us on this voyage of (re)discovery.

Have you spotted the late James Becker’s Ensign Youngblood before…? He was a stand-in for Jonathan' Frakes and appears in an astonishing 42 episodes up until “Hollow Pursuits” in season 3. For context, he had more episodes than Colm Meaney up until season 4’s “The Mind’s Eye”, when (the then fully named) Miles O’Brien overtook him. Don’t recognise him? That’s because the main thing he does is walk up and down the corridors when they have one of those shots to remind us that the Enterprise-D is a busy ship! Look out for Ensign Youngblood in the first three seasons next time you’re watching - and if you happen to spot him while rewatching an episode, please do leave a comment on that episode’s WAM!

We’re owed some promotions! So without further ado, I am granting a commission to Mordechai Buxner, Benedict Tiberius Cato, and inw, who are hereby advanced to the rank of Ensign. In sadder news, I’m sorry to report one of our Lieutenants has been hospitalised in a rather nasty incident (since this is a private matter, I’ll not name him). He’s doing well, thankfully, and we wish him all the best on the road to recovery.
