Okay, I know what you’re thinking. Let’s say it together: “It looks an awful lot like the Battlestar Galactica!” Well, yes, this picture of the model when it was auctioned at Christie’s does indeed look like that - yet oddly, it doesn’t look like that in any of its appearances, whether it’s the Straleb security vessel in “The Outrageous Okona”, the Angosian transport (and police vessel) in “The Hunted”, or in its later appearances as the Dorian in “Man of the People” or the Corvallen freighter in “Face of the Enemy”.

This was a Rick Sternbach design, and originally lacked the rear engine in “The Hunted” which (you may recall) was used as a plot device in that episode.
