Just having the awesome Ronny Cox appearing in TNG was worth it. He makes everything so much more fun and engaging. Jellico has become, as you know, something of a sci-fi urban legend - lol - so many memes and jokes abound. Jellico slapping Troi in a Starfleet uniform is the single greatest moment from a guest star. Great write-up!
