Was this the first time the new warp factor definition was highlighted? I remember quite liking this episode even if it was setting up Wesley for superpowers.
It's a lot of fun, and although I suspect the new normalised warp factors are in play behind-the-scenes at this point, there's no talk about 'warp factor ten' or anything of the kind, just a comment from LaForge that "I calculate that at maximum warp, sir... it would take over three hundred years to get home." The highest numbered warp factor in the script is warp factor six, although Kosinski does brag "I'm the one who has made the so-called 'warp barrier' meaningless." What that barrier is, though, is left pretty vague!
Wow, I never got to see any episodes of TNG at the cinema - that would have been awesome! And especially since this one has such great colourful sequences. What a treat!

Saw this one on the big screen along with Datalore for the bluray HD upgrade release. Seeing our TV Ent D crew on the silver screen was such fun!
